What a Magnificat day on Sunday 13th June!
On behalf of The Magnificat Team Ken and Barbara would like to thank you for supporting our event on Sunday. Weather conditions were ideal for cycling and it was very pleasing to see the rain kept away. The new HQ location at Newbury Racecourse has worked extremely well providing excellent facilities for cyclists. We are already starting negotiations to fix a date at Newbury Racecourse for 2011.
Thank you for riding safely
Our thanks go not only to the sponsors Verenti, Mavic and Torq but to the volunteer teams who have given up their time to ensure your day has been so enjoyable i.e.
Fire Fighters Charity
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
North Hampshire Road Club

We are delighted to have Verenti Bikes as our title sponsors. Verenti Bikes, a division of Wiggle, will be supplying a new range of high quality sportive bicycles.
We are very pleased to welcome back our main sponsor Mavic who will be providing fantastic bike support services during the event weekend. All cyclists will be able to benefit from their skilled team of mechanics.
We are pleased to announce that Torq will be sponsoring the energy and nutritional supplements at our event for the first time. Torq have established an excellent range of nutritional and energy supplements which will be available to all riders at Village HQ and around the courses.
We have had a lively demand for entries since we opened the online entry doors on 4th December. Just click on the ride you are interested in entering to view full details and / or click the Enter button to register your place. Please note we had to close entries early for the event in June 2009 due to increased demand.

- In-house catering with menus designed by cyclists for cyclists
- Licensed bar
- Changing rooms and showers
- Comfortable relax areas inside and outside
Newbury Racecourse access

- Mainline Newbury station less than 5 minutes cycle time to Start
- Overnight parking within grounds

We will again be supporting The Fire Fighters Charity and welcome our second charity of choice Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Please try and find ways to raise donations for these charities through your efforts to ride your own challenge.
